This book... It holds so many messages, from different people. But I don't understand. I am in a forest, yet I don't recall how I got here. And I have wings. My muscles ache and my mind is completely disoriented.

I remember being on the verge of death. I remember the flames. I remember the screams. ... Jade... Saphir...

Can someone please explain the situation to me, or tell me where I am? I need to go find my students.

No, they don't really talk to us except to taunt us and do weird things every so often... And they just kinda seem to pull people in from all over. Once one person shows up though, people they know start to too so there might be people from your world here already.

I wonder... Will any of my knowledge actually be of use here? My area of expertise is Fonic artes. Those cannot be cast here, so I doubt anyone will benefit from learning about them. Most people seem to already know how to read and write, history has become useless, and I am not much of an genius when it comes down to Math...
