This book... It holds so many messages, from different people. But I don't understand. I am in a forest, yet I don't recall how I got here. And I have wings. My muscles ache and my mind is completely disoriented.

I remember being on the verge of death. I remember the flames. I remember the screams. ... Jade... Saphir...

Can someone please explain the situation to me, or tell me where I am? I need to go find my students.

Oh, of course. Lloyd told me you were attacked by a monster in the forest. I certainly hope those creatures aren't indigenous to this world. All the weakened new arrivals would be an easy target.
