This book... It holds so many messages, from different people. But I don't understand. I am in a forest, yet I don't recall how I got here. And I have wings. My muscles ache and my mind is completely disoriented.

I remember being on the verge of death. I remember the flames. I remember the screams. ... Jade... Saphir...

Can someone please explain the situation to me, or tell me where I am? I need to go find my students.

You could still be a teacher here ... if anyone actually wanted to learn! I won't touch schooling with a ten-foot pole. I had enough of that where I came from! But I'm sure there's someone here that wouldn't mind learning!

I wonder... Will any of my knowledge actually be of use here? My area of expertise is Fonic artes. Those cannot be cast here, so I doubt anyone will benefit from learning about them. Most people seem to already know how to read and write, history has become useless, and I am not much of an genius when it comes down to Math...
