[After a rude awakening in the barracks by Simon to discover the village is slowly patching itself up, Gelda's heading back to house #27 to check up on her housemates- Both the temporary ones and the usual. There's something strange going on today, that much is certain, but she can't quite put her finger on it just yet.

Of course, those who're familiar with Gelda will realize she looks a bit odd herself. She's wearing something similar to an army uniform and seems a bit more fit than usual. Feel free to run into her while she's heading home and ask her about this strange attire.

When she gets home, the first thing she'll do is check up on Nephry, Dist and Anise. If there is something strange going on, they may be affected as well.]

[All right. For the moment, Dist will accept that as a good excuse for everything. Even so, that begs the question - who's memories are right and wrong? What was fact and what was fabricated by the Malnosso?]

I understand, and it would not surprise me, given what those two-bit charlatans are capable of. Is Nephry all right, though? She's regained all her strength? And the little girl child...Anise. I haven't spoken to her since the earthquake. Have you heard from her at all?

Both Nephry and Anise are recovering very nicely. In fact, Nephry's up and about again.

[Though she has yet to check up on Anise today, who has also left the house this morning. She was fine yesterday, though.]

[Dist sighs quietly, relieved to hear some good news after the week they've had.]

That's good to hear. Ah...d-do you happen to have any other clothing, Professor Nebilim? I can't seem to fit into mine...

[Funny. Nephry asked her for different clothing as well. Though, Npehry specifically asked for something that's easy to move around in. She may have something a bit more informal for Dist.]

I'm sure I can find something for you. Will a skirt and a blouse do?

That should be fine. Thank you, Professor. [Dist smiled and removed her coat. It seemed to be a bit of a lost cause right now, unless she left it open.] Are they in your room?

Yes, they are. I'll fetch them for you.

[It's strange, though. If it's her memories being manipulated and Dist really was always a woman... Why does she not have any clothes to fit a woman? Wouldn't it be more likely if Dist's memories and body were altered, but the wardrobe stayed the same as always? The same would count for Nephry, who also didn't seem to have her old clothes anymore.

Well, either way, she'll head to her room for a moment to gather some clothes for Dist.]

[Dist was beginning to think the same thing. Though every memory she ever had within and outside of Luceti she recalled being female, the clothes here were definitely for a male. When Gelda returns with some gender appropriate clothing, Dist will be sitting on her bed, lost in though, and gazing pointedly at the floor.

Had her mind and body been altered by the Malnosso? She was aware of both of the two, but never together. Of course, these people seemed to make the impossible possible. Perhaps they were as brainless as she first thought, though what was the purpose of changing them now? Was it truly an experiment, or was this still the effects of nner turmoil withing the Organization?]

[When Gelda returns with a bunch of clothing in her hand, she frowns mildly at the sight of Dist. Nothing like a good old experiment to make people doubt themselves... To be fair, this "Professor" business is getting to Gelda as well. What if she had retired to be a teacher? Would her life have been easier?

She steps towards Dist, carefully dropping the clothes next to her on the bed.]

I hope this will do. I'm afraid I don't know your size, but if the skirt doesn't fit, you can always wear your pants and head for the clothing store to find something more appropriate.

[It's only when she hears and feels the bed shift with the weight of the garments that Dist looks up with mild surprise. She smiles sheepishly at Gelda for spacing out for a moment before looking at the clothes. Oh, they looked really nice. Not overly fashionable like what she was used to, but definitely comfortable and casual.]

Thank you, Professor! I should be all right, but if that's the case, then I will do as you say, yes. Now if you please excuse me?

[Yeah, they are both girls and everything, but...Dist's not exactly comfortable with changing with anyone around.]

Of course.

[Gelda doesn't mind changing in front of other girls. She's used to that sort of thing in the Order of Lorelei. She won't hold it against Dist for not sharing those sentiments, though. With one last smile, she'll exit the room.]

[It'll be a few minutes before Dist opens the door of her room, all changed. The blouse fit her perfectly, and the skirt was a tiny bit big, since Dist was still thin - even a bit lanky - even as a woman. A belt would fix that problem easily, though.]

Both fit very well, Professor, thank you! How do I look? [She smiles, and true to her new feminine deamnor, she kind of models the clothes a bit for Gelda.]

[Gelda's a bit stumped by how much Dist looks like a woman with such little physical difference; She may have a chest now, but her face hasn't changed too much at all.]

You look... [What's a word for this that isn't awkward?] Stunning.

[It's the truth and a compliment at the same time. There we go!]

[Well, Dist always was more in-tune with his feminine side. He wasn't afraid to flaunt what he had, and especially not now as a woman. She smiled a little to the compliment and cut out the modeling quickly enough.]

I should look for some proper foot wear, though. I don't think you can help me there, Professor. But I simply must thank you for the clothing. D-Do you think this will last at all? Assuming...it is an experiment.

Assuming this is an experiment... It should last for a week. Though I'm uncertain if it truly is the result of a Shift, or another side-effect of the incidents that took place these past few weeks.

Mm, I was thinking the same thing, Professor. With everything that has occurred recently, I wouldn't be surprised if this was just another mark to add to the list of grievances.

If you don't mind my asking, however, what do you recall last now? For...curiosity's sake.

[She's silent, for a moment. The last thing she recalls... She already fears the answer may be, but she has to ask to be certain.]

What I recall last before I was taken to Luceti, you mean?

Correct. [She hesitates for a moment, then pushes up her glasses and quickly mumbles out.] Do not feel obligated to answer, Professor Nebilim. I-If you'd rather not...

[Dist is very well aware of painful memories.]

[She shakes her head, putting on a slight smile. Even so, her fingers start toying with the cloth of her uniform uneasily.]

I was in Daath. The Oracle Knights had developed a new Fontech device and were in the process of testing it. Things... didn't exactly go as planned and a nearby building caught fire. [That's all she's willing to say on the matter. She's still not entirely sure herself what happened after that. She remembers going in there and she remembers the flames, but...]

[The air gets thick with a tense silence before Dist nods. Oracle Knights? The Professor joined the Oracle Knights?! And...a fire. Another accident. Was she really destined to perish, regardless of whatever path she chose?]

I...I see. I apologize for making you recollect that.

[She simply shakes her head again.]

It's fine. Memories are nothing to fear and Oracle Knights simply have a hectic job to tend to. You were in the Order yourself- Rather, you were, in my memories. I'm not certain if it still applies to you now.
