I need to speak with you. The both of you. It's recently come to my attention that this cannot be avoided any longer. You two can either visit me together, or give your stories seperately.

[Considering it's such a nice day outside, Gelda has taken a chair and is sitting in the shade in front of house #27. She found an interesting book in the library to waste some time with. You can tell her attention isn't quite on the pages, though. Feel free to bug her, considering she hasn't been around all too much these past few weeks.]

The experiment passed me by completely, for which I'm grateful. Though Regal wasn't quite as fortunate.

Regal ...

It ended in his unfortunate participation in the Miss Luceti pageant, but other than that, no real harm was done.

No, I meant...

He was kidnapped, and injured.

It's a good thing he was already healed for the most part, but I accompanied him in case he was in need of additional assistance. If he were signed up while in a worse condition, things would've gotten troublesome. Of course, then I would've made sure to keep the news about his participation to myself.

That's... still not what I meant, but I'm glad that someone was there to look out for him, at least.

I wouldn't be much of a healer or housemate if I left him to his own devices so shortly after being returned from his kidnapping.

I haven't checked in on him at all. Of course he did ask me not to, but I don't think he even knew what was going on. For me not to check up on him... it's not right.

No one is stopping you from paying a visit now, Raine. I'm certain he would enjoy your company.

... I suppose not. Is that an invitation?

I cannot speak for Regal, but in my case it does count as an invitation.

... All right. Then I'll come by to see you shortly.

[She's certainly getting a lot of visitors today. It's probably best if she goes to inform Regal of this one, though.]

[Maybe so. In any case, as promised, she'll probably show up to see them sometime after Gelda's other little meetings have finished.]

[Regal has pretty much just been puttering around the house, reading and doing a little bit of cooking when it's required. He's under orders to take it easy, and even though his injuries are completely healed now, it's probably a wise idea not to strain himself too much while he's still recovering.]

[She knocks on the door.]

[And Regal answers, nodding in greeting once he sees who it is.]

Raine, it's good to see you. Gelda told me you were coming to visit.

That's right. I apologize for not coming by sooner. How have you been recovering?

Quite well, thanks to Gelda's healing. I have been supplementing it with my own healing now that my strength is back; I should be as good as new in a few more days.

That's good to hear; it's lucky that Gelda was around then. I hope that the last experiment didn't have you doing anything too strenuous.

I don't think "strenuous" is the word I would use to describe that pageant, although some of the contestants did seem to be getting rather enthusiastic.

I see. I wasn't there to observe it, so I can't really say anything about it. At least it's done with.

And not a moment too soon. Were you subject to any ridiculous orders during this experiment, Raine?
