Roughly two years ago, my comrades and I had begun investigating the Catalysts after learning of their existence and their connection to the Planetary Fonic Arte.

After having gathered all six, our search brought us to a crag within Mt. Roneal, where the Planetary Fonic Arte glyph lay dormant.

I had... refined the technique so that it utilized machines and seventh fonons. It proved to be a more effective process, and no more replicas like yours came into existence.

Fomicry can be a truly frightening process, if in the wrong hands.

... To think someone would want to replace the entire world, just to get rid of the Score. It's lunacy. Even if you were to recreate the planet, that too would have a memory of its own. The replicas inhabiting it simply might not know how to read it.

At its heart, the Score is a self-fulfilling prophecy. The things that happen become true because we believe they will happen.

That hardly denies the existance of the planet's memory. I can understand why one would want more freedom, as I've come to realize here in Luceti that life without the Score is a lot more pleasant. Even so, using such a dangerous technique to create a new world is hardly the best way to approach the matter.

Not at all. I know that the planet's memory exists. However, the Score is only one possible future. In order to obtain freedom from it, you must stop relying on it.

A bit over a year ago, Saphir told me Auldrant has been freed from the Score. Is that because the replica world was a success, or was this due to another reason?

Due to our efforts, and the cooperation of the empires, the Score has been abolished. People can no longer have their scores read to them. That is how Auldrant has been freed from the Score.

I see. I suppose that would be the best method, though it'd cause mayhem for the first few years.

Yes. But, in time, they will learn to live without the Score. After all, not all believed in the Score so fervently.
