Now, I'd like to announce our new school project. You will be graded for this, of course, but most of all it is a learning experience. All the practical knowledge you gain may very well be put to use in the future. You see...

[She reaches down to pick up a small basket, placing it on the desk before her. What's inside the basket, you wonder? It's eggs. A lot of them. They aren't boiled or anything of the sort.]

For an entire week, you all will be proud parents. These [she indicates the eggs again.] will be your frail, loved children. You may name them, dress them or even try to feed them. As long as your child is still in one piece next Thursday, you pass the project. Of course, one can never become a parent on their own, which is why I've taken the liberty of assigning you all a partner. Both of you will have to cooperate and take it in turns to care for your baby. That is the trick behind parenting, after all. Stella, already being a proud mother herself, is exempt from the project and will be giving a guest lecture early next week.

When I call your names, you will come forth and take one 'child' out of the basket. Once you've all had your turn, I'd like you to take a while to get to know your partner better and make some agreements on the ways you feel this project should be handled.

[Egg babies? Weird. But Ramirez takes education seriously and he's now holding his new baby...thing in what he hopes is in a somewhat maternal manner. He hopes. He hasn't had much practice at this sort of thing.

Now who did they say his partner was? Souji? Has he even spoken to him?

[This is right up Rena's alley. She bounds on over when her name is called and promptly begins to cuddle one of the eggs.]

[Egg babies. Yeah, this is Riku giving an 'are you serious' look as he comes to grab an egg.

He doesn't even know his partner, which ought to make things interesting, to say the least. Sora and Kairi would probably approve of him getting out of his box, so to speak.]

Man, I didn't even get a girl?

[he's muttering something about stupid gay marriages as he goes up to grab an egg, before coming back to Akihiko. At least he kinda knew this guy.]

Whaddya think? Scrambled or sunny-side up?

[What. No, really, what. He just came back from his Mallynapping about a week ago, but he couldn't help but notice the kids heading to school while he was busy getting better. He gave it a try once his nausea passed and thought it'd be neat to show up once in a while.

...now he wasn't so sure about showing up today. But, well, he was here and she called his name so he might as well participate. Link stepped up when his name was called, picking an egg carefully and cradling it with both hands. (His left hand was still stinging from his injury, so it was best to use both for the egg.) After stepping back, he looked around for his partner.

He's still a little unsure about this project. Seriously, what was he doing.]

Oh come on. Seriously?

[That's about as much as he grumbles to himself. He's going to let his partner go up and get the egg. Because now it is time for (arguably) the two smartest individuals in the class - who had radically different outlooks on life - to be "parents." And he couldn't be more frustrated.]

[Minato is pretty much sitting quietly in his seat, looking around for his partner. Colette was the girl with long blonde hair, right?]

[his attention span wasn`t that bad, not like someone he knew back home, but at the moment she called his name, Sveinn was busy thinking about the possibilities of getting out of Luceti and whatnot.]

[Well, at least his `couple` was a girl. not that he mind being paired with another guy. he then proceeds to look around the class for Rachel, hoping that she would save him from the obligation to step forward and be the center of attention]

[Once her name is called, Mitsuru immediately gets up to take her egg, opting to wait on a corner for her partner to approach her after doing so. Sonic, was it? That name sounded familiar...]

[Egg babies...well, that's strange. Terra retrieves one when her name is called, looking at it as though she's not quite sure what to do. She moves off to the side and glances around uncertainly for her partner.]

[When her name is called, Shirley will shyly pick hers up and look around for her partner. She doesn't know Roxas, and she's pretty nervous about this project in general.]

[This woman was obviously crazy. Why was Caesar still here again? He was sure that humoring Raine just wasn't worth it.

Well, there were a couple ways to go about doing this. Partner, partner, where are you, partner~?]

[Egg babies, eh. Rika's thinking this project is absolutely ridiculous, but she's not about to say anything. Instead, she stands in the back of the room, looking around for her partner.]

[Hikari goes up to get her egg, and waits for her partner to join her.

In the meantime she watches to see how the other students are reacting to this project.]

[Since it's pretty easy to guess that one of the two girls he's partnered with got the egg, Kotaro is just going to be standing by the sidelines, waiting to find his partners~]

[Klonoa, who really shouldn't be there because he's got a wicked cold, but likes school too much to leave, goes to get his egg and starts looking for this Hanyuu person. A sudden, violent sneeze makes him drop the poor eggbaby. He just sort of stands there, vaguely shocked.] ...Uh, Professor... can I get another one? [Sniffle, cough.]

[Yuzu obtains her egg and holds it somewhat lazily, obviously not getting as into the project as some other people in the room.]

So who's Harry?

[She's also eyeing the boy who's partnered with Hero. Good thing it is a boy, otherwise it would be an icy stare instead.]

[Eggs? He can take care of eggs no problem! Takuya'll just head on up to the front of the room to take one when his name is called, glancing around for his partner to respond.]

[Celes is so trying to hide her displeasure at getting Lloyd for a partner since she definitely has not missed the "special" attention he gets from Professor Sage, and not the positive sort of attention. But at least she knows him from the start and knows what to expect.

Still, she takes an egg when their names are called and she's going to be very carefully protective of it.

Yes Lloyd, expect that chances are good she will make sure you get an easy pass and not let you touch the egg. And now she's going to go seek out Lloyd and find a nice way to tell him that she'll just do the project for him so she doesn't end up failing. She's already behind enough as it is.]

[As soon as his name's called, Taichi gets up and grabs an egg, just looking at it like it's a foreign object.] We're really supposed to take care of it?

[Charlotte has been looking around for Draco for some time. Amazingly using this time to traverse almost the entire classroom. She's even asked a few people. Eventually though, she finds it's the pretty but somewhat rude looking blonde boy. She got the egg a while ago and-]</small Hello!
