[Considering it's such a nice day outside, Gelda has taken a chair and is sitting in the shade in front of house #27. She found an interesting book in the library to waste some time with. You can tell her attention isn't quite on the pages, though. Feel free to bug her, considering she hasn't been around all too much these past few weeks.]

[She snaps the door shut again, then leads the way into the kitchen. The teakettle's already on the stove and filled with boiling water.]

Have a seat. Can I get you something to drink?

I would not want to trouble you, Professor. However... [He eyes the kettle.] If you are already preparing tea, that will be fine.

[If this were Harry Potter, she'd be able to dump Veritaserum in there. Not that she would. She trusts Jade to tell the truth on his own, this time. A few moments later, he'll get a cup of nice, normal tea.]

[Gelda takes a seat as well, folding her hands together.]

I'm certain that you already know. [She pauses for a moment, closing her eyes.] I need to know what you and Saphir did.

[She just nods. That's the last thing she remembers before arriving in Luceti. But she never really blamed Jade for that.]

Yes. The attempt was a success. I indeed created a replica using fomicry as it existed then.

However, you were lost. That replica was not you. Furthermore, it was unstable, lacking sufficient first and sixth fonons. The replica was almost feral, attacking innocents just to absorb their fonons. It was also a highly skilled, highly dangerous fonist.

She had my appearance, but not my soul. That's only logical. It is impossible to recreate human emotions. How many lives did she take?

She had wiped out an entire band of fonists. Other than that, I could not say.

It took all that McGovern, who was an elite of Malkuth's military in his prime, had in order to just seal her away.

She wasn't executed for her crimes?

That would have required capturing her, and that was hardly effective against her.
